Summer is finally here and Jodi & Andrew's engagement session welcomed it with wide open arms & GORGEOUS, golden light! The weather blessed us beyond measures on the first official weekend of summer for their engagement session & the temps were spot on perfect. We seriously couldn't have asked for anything better.

Jodi & Andrew's engagement session was shot entirely on Jodi's family farm. I LOVE being able to shoot at brand new locations, switching the scenes up! Sessions instantly become winners in my book when this happens. How more perfect could the landscape get!? Between the wooden fences, the wide-open, rolling hills, the barns, & the water. I mean, come on man! It's was a slice of heaven!

I like to let my couples have complete control with their sessions. From letting them pick their own locations to the type of music they like to listen to as we shoot, this allows them to be completely relaxed & free to be themselves. It also allows me the wonderful opportunity to see how much love they both have for each other. Every photo that I post shows what real love looks like. It may take a few minutes into each session to pull out that emotion, but by the end of each & every session I get to do, I've been able to capture such amazing emotions. This is why I love being a photographer. Plus I get awesome couples like Jodi & Andrew who raise the bar by like a million. Their wedding is going to be so much fun to photograph & it's a treat getting to experience such a special day with them! I CANNOT wait!
