What does a photographer do when they're needing a break from reality? We hang out & do fun, styled shoots, at least this guy does! I took advantage of Saturday evening that I had free to go out & do a "styled" session with my just-as-talented cousin, Ashley. By "styled session," I really mean that I accidentally bought two oversized, extremely wrinkled dresses from Amazon & we struggled hardcore to make them look halfway decent. There is a reason why different vendors get together & share their talents with others when doing these types of shoots. I have come to the conclusion that I am by NO means a fashion guru!
We shot this entire session down at a local high-school where there was a small stream just about a half a mile away on the property. It was definitely a bit of a hike to get down there but once we saw past the few pieces of trash & mosquitoes, we knew the spot would be perfect. The goal behind this session was to mainly focus around the greenery of the woods & the raw beauty surrounding the location. Plus I had a new camera lens I had just purchased that was begging to be used!
Ashley completely killed the entire thing & looks STUNNING! With everything that we struggled on, we definitely wouldn't have traded the evening for anything else. We're actually already working on plans for the next one so stay tuned for updates for the next go around! I am so excited to share this session with you guys!
