I was so excited when Kayla reached out to me to set up a maternity session for her & Kyle (also the best name ever, just saying) so that they could help celebrate the beginning of their little girl's big start on life. My experience with them was even better once we actually met up. I always look forward on seeing how my families & couples react with me shooting around them & hands down, Kayla & Kyle were both complete naturals! Their incredible, outgoing personalities instantly brought so much more entertainment to their session & for my life! Haha
I encourage my families & couples to just be themselves during each shoot & these guys had NO trouble doing just that. Kayla & Kyle will be expecting their little girl to make her appearance at the end of this summer, however Kayla is praying she arrives a bit early to enjoy the last few warm days not pregnant Haha So far, they've had an enjoyable pregnancy with very few complications. I'm super excited to see them welcome her when she finally decides it's time.
Towards the end of our session, I decided to whip out the drone & get some different angles that would be a fun perspective for everyone to enjoy. You wouldn't know it from the images but we were all actually being slowly eaten alive by HUGE mosquitoes. Literally the same sized ones from Jumanji (Robin Williams version, not The Rock). Kayla & Kyle were SERIOUS rockstars for putting up with my crazy idea & these blood thirsty monsters! Haha We even had company from a stray cat that just didn't want to leave us. Thankfully Kyle was able to remove him, somewhat...haha
Super thrilled to get these back to them both & I know they're going kill it at being "Mom" & "Dad." Congratulations Kayla & Kyle! I can't wait to see the wonderful joy she brings to you guys!
