Portrait FAQ's

What kind of photos do you take?

I specialize in all kinds of photography work. My favorite things to photograph are portraits! You can see the different types of images I photograph here. I will try & accommodate any session you may have, but please be aware that it is up to my discretion to refuse any session in which I feel is inappropriate or against my beliefs as an artist. There are thousands of photographers out there that would love to help you if I can't. I'll be happy to direct you to some if need be.

What time of day do you shoot?

I shoot most of my portrait sessions during the "Golden Hour," a photographer's most treasured time of day. Whether it be during sunrise or sunset, sessions will be setup around these times. This will allow us to capture that beautiful, soft, ambient light that makes everything glow!

Can I print out my photos that I receive?

Sure! I always say to print out your photos so that you can always have something to look back on, other than on a man-made computer monitor. Each session comes with full rights to the images you receive, therefore allowing you to share, post, print any-which-way you want to!

How long does it take to receive my images after a session?

Once we're finished rocking out your session, I will proceed with going through & processing the images that we're taken that day. It will normally take about two weeks to go through & edit the photos but in some cases, I can have them finished sooner.

How much do your Portrait services cost?

Portrait sessions start at $550. Please Contact me for more information regarding the full rates, fees & prices of your portrait session. I would love to chat with you! If I don't respond back right away, don't sweat it! I try my absolute best to respond back as quickly as I can. Please allow me a window of time of 1-2 days to get back to you.

Wedding FAQ's

How do you like to work?

It's always good to know what you're getting yourself into when trying to find the right vendors for a wedding. Which is why I wrote this question & why it's first on this list. Being a photographer, I have to make sure all of the details are just right. With this said, focus is key when it comes to wedding photography & I'm about as focused as focused can get (say that five times fast). But not only is focus a key part of wedding photography, a calm mind is just as essential. There are a lot of nervous nellies on wedding day & so I will always be as calm as possible. My goal is to approach every session with a professional yet laid-back attitude. Not so laid-back that my work becomes sloppy, but just enough to where the bridal party will feel comfortable having me around them. I'm no wedding planner or assistant, but if I can make you feel safe & comfortable while capturing those memorable moments, then I've done my job.

Will you travel to do wedding photography?

Heck yea! Most of the weddings I photograph stay within the DMV area, but every now & then, one will pop up outside those locations. A small travel fee is applied to weddings outside of MD.

How many packages do you offer?

Currently I have three different packages in which you can choose from. They all offer something different, so you have options to pick from. Who doesn't enjoy options? Contact me for more information regarding wedding packages.

How long does it take to receive our images?

It takes about 4-6 weeks to get the images back to you. Depending on how many photographs are taken throughout the day, will determine how long it takes to go through & process the images. In some instances however, I may have the images to you sooner.

What happens if I really want to book you?

Before we can start celebrating, I require a non-refundable retainer fee & a signed contract. The retainer fee is based off of which package you decide to purchase & will be 40% of that package price. Once both are obtained, the retainer fee & signed contract will "lock in" your wedding date on my calendar, closing it off to any other couple. From there, we can begin partying!

How much do your Wedding services cost?

Wedding packages begin at $4,000. Each one includes the "must-haves" such as: an engagement session, 2 photographers, an online gallery for sharing, & up to 8 full hours of coverage. No matter which one you decide on, all of them carry the essentials for preserving those memorable moments throughout the day. Please Contact me for more information regarding the full rates, fees & prices of your wedding package. I would love to chat with you! If I don't respond back right away, don't sweat it! I try my absolute best to respond back as quickly as I can. Please allow me a window of time of 1-2 days to get back to you.

Real-Estate FAQ's

Is there only one certain Real-Estate company you shoot for?

Nope! If you are a licensed agent from any company, either a large firm or a small office, I am willing to work with you & help out! I'm pretty fun to work with, if I say so myself.

Do you do homes outside of St. Mary's County?

Yes I do! Most of the properties I photograph tend to stick within the Tri-County area, but I am up for going to any area. Any home outside of the Tri-County will be charged an extra fee.

How many images do you take?

Every home has a different floor-plan so each photo appointment will vary with how many images will be taken. Typically however, most homes can provide the maximum 30 images for the MLS.  There are some determining factors to consider if this is not possible: 1) the house is "small" (i.e. a trailer), 2) the house may not be suitable for interior shots but rather focused on the exterior, 3) or if an agent is only looking for something specific to be photographed either on the inside or outside.

Do you do video tours?

Yes & No. While I do not currently offer any interior video tours, I do offer exterior video tours captured by drone, where permitted.

Do you do any drone / aerial photography & are you legal?

Heck yeah I do! And totally legal at that! I've worked extremely hard to go through all of the hoops & rings that the FAA could throw at me & after several prep-classes & the big test taking, I officially have my Remote Pilot Certificate & am ready to take off for any property you may have. Let's get to flying!

How many images will I receive & how will I receive them?

These are two great questions that I get asked a lot. The truth is, you will receive all of the images that were taken at the appointment. Yup, you read that right! You will get them ALL! Most photography companies that do Real-Estate photography will limit their photo count to 30 images, simply because that's all an agent can use in the MLS. But I like to do things differently & provide you with options. As I said up in the Wedding FAQ's, who doesn't love options? They're awesome! Every agent will receive all of the images taken of their properties either by a Dropbox link via email or in a zipped folder also via email that very same day they're taken! It's only on rare occasions that you'd receive your images the next day. They'll even be resized so all you will have to do is go through which ones you want to use, save them to your computer, & upload them to the MLS. Boom! You're now ready to sell that baby!

How do I schedule an appointment to set up with you?

Just reach out to me via phone, email, or text & I will provide you with my next available time slot. It's that easy! For quicker turn-around times for your images, please be sure to Contact Me 24-48 hours before your listing activation date.

How much do you charge for Real-Estate photographs?

Most homes in the Tri-County area begin at $150 while homes in select areas begin at $200. Any property outside the Tri-County area will be determined once an appointment has been scheduled. Aerial imagery may also be discussed once an appointment has been made as well. Please Contact Me for more information regarding the full rates, fees & prices of your Real-Estate session. I would love to chat with you! If I don't respond back right away, don't sweat it! I try my absolute best to respond back as quickly as I can. Please allow me a window of time of 1-2 days to get back to you.
