Y'all. If 2017 continues to have sessions like this one, I am in for a serious treat. I had the privilege of photographing Stephanie this past Sunday afternoon & she couldn't have been any sweeter. She is currently studying the culinary arts as she prepares to make her way into the world of food blogging. Her goal is to help other folks (like myself) find their way in the kitchen while learning how to prepare healthy, yet easy to-do receipes made entirely from scratch. And the best part, her blog has the greatest name: "A Sissy In The Kitchen."
As she was telling me about the background behind this name, she mentioned to me that when she was growing up, her grandfather would always call her "Sissy" as a form of a nickname. It grew to have special meaning to her throughout her life & today, she is able to apply it to her iconic, yet ironic, blog name. Stories like this one always seem to add more "magic" to these sessions, allowing me to cherish them that much more!
Stephanie is a wonderful woman whose character exceeds far beyond the kitchen (plus she can hold a great conversation!). It was an absolute JOY to photograph her & I know she is going to succeed greatly! Hands-down one of my favorite sessions so far for 2017.
